Vocational Evaluations are performed with various types of assessment tools: situations assessment, psychometric testing, vocational and personal counseling.
Work Adjustment provides continuously supervised opportunity to work in various work settings while focusing on work tolerances and stamina, attitudes, work habits, and behaviors.
Skills Training offers specific training
- Career Passport is a customized skill training program providing documentation of specific skill competencies
- In 2007 Career Passport graduated 16 participants
Extended Employment
- The Extended Employment Program offers long-term employment and training for disabled individuals. The individuals participating in the program are provided training to assist them in adjusting to social and vocational skills demanded of them as they advance to higher vocational levels. Participant reviews are held on a semi annual basis to chart individual work preformance. The duration of the extended employment varies for each individual, basd on need. Individuals are sponsored for Extended Employment by various refferal agencies, such as Managed Care Agencies, Department of Human Services, other State, County and Private Agencies.
Job Placement provides services to all participants who achieve sufficient employability skills
