Did You Know in 2009?
- The Center worked with over 1,200 individuals during 2009 in all program areas.
- The programs offered at the Center include Vocational Evaluation, Work Adjustment Training, Skill Training (Career Passport Program), as well as Extended Employment and Job Placement.
- Individuals who come to the Center range from 16 years to over 75 years of age.
- CDC, in collaboration with the Eau Claire School District, has an alternative program for high school students.
- Students come from area high schools to attend CDC’s school-to-work transition programming.
- Literacy Volunteers - Chippewa Valley provides workplace education with teachers and tutors.
- Our Corporate Guardianship Program is appointed by Wisconsin Circuit Court system and provides advocacy and guardianship services for up to 125 individuals.
- Our Woodworking Department has state of the art CNC Routering and Panel Processing Equipment.
- We manufactured and shipped over 30,000 bed frames from our facility to several Midwestern customers.
- Every day our cafeteria provides meals to over 100 people. We also provide catering for many events in the Chippewa Valley.
- We have Custodial Services providing lawn care, wayside maintenance and general cleaning in the Chippewa Valley.
- Our Printing Department will take care of all your business and personal documents including direct mail and bulk mailing services.
- Our Upholstery Department is well known for its work with both commercial and residential customers. We also provide chair caning and rush fiber work.
- CDC has five loading docks for container processing and fulfillment, with warehousing space available.
- CDC’s Packaging & Assembly Department provides services including sonic welding,, labeling, and shrink wrapping.
- We provide services to global companies serving local and regional entities.
